a space of self discovery after divorce…

navigating life after divorce

No one prepares you for the ups and downs blended family life can bring. You fall in love. You think “I can do this again”. You feel a zest of energy starting a new life chapter. You start to navigate a new beginning. You realize along the way that there are rewarding moments that bring extreme joy and pride, the kind of moments that make it all worth it. And then… there are also the moments that feel so damn hard that you question your role in your family, your contribution to your home and your how you show up as a partner, parent and step parent.

No one prepares you for the ups and downs that comes with the title of being a ‘blended family’, a ‘stepmom’ or ‘stepdad’.

This is why I created Blending & Mending,

  • To give you the support I didn’t always have and share my learnings.

  • To be a soundboard and provide helpful tools to help you through your ups and downs.

  • To support you in navigating your chapter after divorce as a single parent or finding your new roles in your blended family as a new parent.

  • To share tips & coping strategies from like minded people to support you through your journey

  • To share a space of hope and to move away from the ‘fear of the unknown’

When people come together to share their stories, their vulnerabilities and their triumphs… something special happens.

We RELATE. We CONNECT. We feel SUPPORTED.

Creating a space for courageous and vulnerable story telling is at the heart of what I do. I want you you to feel inspired, motivated and supported as we take time to listen to what other blended families and experts have to say …

  • Do you want to hear from experts on how to “find yourself” again after a divorce or separation?

  • Do you want to hear about step parenting through a mother or fathers lens?

  • Do you want to hear from expertise on how to manage your grief and move on?

  • Do you want to get insights into the importance of boundaries and how to nurture a co-parenting relationship with your ex?

  • Do you need to manage a high conflict ex?

  • Do you need coping strategies to normalize having two homes for your children?

We talk about all of this and more…

let’s talk
